Should your John Hardy ever need repair or refurbishment, our team of artisans are available to help.
Our jewelry is repaired in Bangkok, Thailand, and repair work typically takes between 6 and 8 weeks from the date your items are received. Once received, our artisans will evaluate your piece (which may take up to two weeks), after which we will contact you to discuss additional details or service fees prior to beginning work on your item. Once your repair is complete, your jewelry will be shipped back to you with tracking provided via email.
To send in your John Hardy jewelry for repair, email us at email@example.com or call 1-888-838-3022. Please provide the following information when requesting a repair:
- Full Name
- Contact Number
- Shipping Address
- Receipt (for warranty coverage if purchased within the last 12 months)
- Style number (if available) or take a clear picture of the item to help with style identification
- Detailed description of the repair
- If the item ever been resized or modified (Y/N); if yes, please specify details.
Upon receipt of your inquiry, our team will reach out to provide you with a service order number to reference when tracking your repair, as well as a packing slip to include with your item(s).
Print the packing slip provided and include it, along with a copy of your receipt if purchased within the last 12 months, with your jewelry. Pack jewelry securely to prevent damage during transit. Please note, we do not return your item(s) in their original packaging, so keep any jewelry pouches, cleaning cloths, boxes or other items you may want returned.
Please make sure to note your service order number on the shipping label. We also recommend insuring your package and keeping a copy of the tracking number for your records.

If your piece was purchased within the last 12 months, it may be covered under warranty and will be repaired at no cost to you. Our warranty covers repairs for damages that should not normally occur during normal wear and tear, including:
- Mechanism flaws (clasp, hinge, bale)
- Broken earring posts or clips
- Chain damage
- Missing or loose gold dots or pavé stones
Please note, the John Hardy warranty does not cover lost or stolen jewelry, accidental damage or negligence, natural tarnishing that may occur over time or purchases made from an unauthorized retailer.
If your repair is not covered under warranty, we will evaluate your piece and provide a quote for the requested repair. Should you choose not to proceed with the repair, you will be charged a $30 return shipping fee.
